This is a sweet combing bed jacket for a dear dolly.  Dating about 1920's, the jacket is made of a silk rayon crepe in an aqua color edged in wide pink silk ribbon, then embellished with feather stitch embroidery. 

So expertly made, even the side and raglan sleeve seams are felted. All stitching is done by hand.  Oh, so definitely a minature treasure of very nice workmanship.

The jacket is 9-1/2" long from the neck to hem.  It is about 7" wide across from shoulder to shoulder.  Sleeve length is 5-1/2" long (probably just above elbow length).  18" around the chest and hem. Slit opening on either side seam 1-1/2" at the hem line. These openings are finished. 

This would have been the style for the time period.

Condition:  Just a tad of oxidation but very slight and not readily seen.  A couple of very tiny breaks in the pink ribbon but not very noticeable. It does not look as if a child played with.
