A wonderful fur doll cape and matching hat.  Dating from the vintage years of the late teens or 1920's, this matching ensemble is home sewn. Made of real black fur and a pretty flowered fabric for the lining.  Possibly a silk or blend of rayon silk. 

The cape is made in a long piece with black silk ribbon ties for securing around the neck.   The pretty flowers material is used for the top of hat and inside lining of hat and cape.  A band of the black fur makes a nice embellishment to define the hat.  

Size measurement:  Cape is 14-1/2" long x 6" wide.  When tied around the neck of a doll it would be about 6" across, from shoulder to shoulder.  The hat is 10-1/2" around the inside opening.  Height is 4" to 4-1/2" deep.  Probably fitting a doll's head about the size of a small orange.  

Condition:  It appears never have been played with.  In other words, nice condition.
