The 1940's saw a style of women's hats all their own. Here is a cute tilt style with a forward look from that time period. Perched on the front of the head, this black straw is tri cornered with upturned rolled brim. An embellishment of small feathers, jot eagerly this way and that, on top.
Colors of the feathers are pink, tan and brown. Black veiling circles the hat with a veiling frill tied at the back. Head band for securing is a black faille ribbon. No labels.
Nice condition. Maybe a bit dusty. Veiling is exceptionally nice. Unless I missed something, I didn't find any holes.
Size inside the crown is 15"circumference. 28" around the outside edge. Although size wouldn't matter so much with this hat, due to its forward tilt.
