I am offering this vintage later 1930 - 1940's gorgeous straw hat with large cabbage roses encased in black veiling around the crown of the hat. The lovely fabric roses number six. Shading from light to darker pink to salmon.
The brim is wide with slight downward curvature tapering towards the back of hat. Width of the brim at the front is 5-5/8" wide. Width at the back of the brim is 2-3/4" wide. Inside circumference of the hat is 20-1/2".
Accenting the crown is a wide silk velvet ribbon with short streamers ~ nice feel to this ribbon. Width of the ribbon is 2" wide.
The straw crown rises high on the back of hat slopping forward to almost no depth at the center front. Hat would have been worn either flat or just a slight tilt to the front.
Label inside the hat "Fair Labor Standards Comsumer Protection". Other portion of the label reads "Creation.." No other words are visible.
The condition of the hat is in lovely shape.
