A lovely group of three matching Victorian to the 1920's era dress buttons. I personally lean more to the Art Nouveau period. These so pretty buttons feature a narrow outer ring of enamel painted flowers.
At the center and pressed into the button is a black pierced center, which looks to be more of a flower or leaf design.
The decorative center also features cut steel studs, situated in a spoke fashion, accenting the black openwork. Back of the button is a gilt brass.
Even though the three buttons match, you will notice the brass backing of one of the buttons has a design. The other two are plain. All have a shank for attaching. No markings as to maker.
Size is 1-1/4" in diameter.
Condition of all are very nice.
