Dating these floras about 1830's to 1840's. For your home and garden decorating, a group of seven bookplate lithograph print pages. Suitable for matting, framing or your inspiration.
Each page of the hand colored floral engravings are divided in four sections. Each with a different flower or plant. Printed in the page border, the name E.D. (Edward Dalton) Smith dd.
In the opposite corner, S. Watts, the engraver.
Each page is 6-1/4" x 8".
Condition: As these wonderful old prints are almost 200 years old, the condition, I would consider quite nice. You will find here and there a small bend at a corner and a tiny bit of soiling / aging. Still, to me, it is what gives more character. Why does something old have to be pristine new perfect? Just thoughts.
Also each page does have a pencil notation in the border of the upper left corner. These can be erased.
