A pretty needlework tulle bonnet veiling from the 19th century. Guessing about 1860-1880's.  A lovely accessory addition to a Victorian bonnet. This rectangular lace could also be used for a lovely neck scarf, too or perhaps something of your imagination. Or just admire the beauty of the needlework.  

The net veil is 44" long x 14" wide with hand tambour needle lace.  It is a narrow leaf design worked on the long scallop edge and two short sides.  Top edge is plain.   Needlework of  round dots embellish the center of the netting.   

It has been stored for years without cleaning so you will find oxidation from storage.  Otherwise, except for two tiny holes in the netting, the condition remarkable for the age.
