A lovely treasure from the past ~ an antique cardboard photo mount page from an old photo album. Dating about 1880's, perhaps somewhat earlier.  Oval cut outs, edged in gold, hold the two pictures of the children taken at Donald & Sterry Photographers, Albany, N.Y.

The beautiful printed colored page is illustrated with ferns, flowers and butterflies in soft colors.  It is 8-1/2" x 11" .  The oval opening of the children is 3-1/2" tall x 2-1/8" wide.

This piece of ephemera is perfect for altered art, journals or your creative imagination.

Condition.  Some loss of the colored paper at the top of page.  The back side also has some paper damage.  Overall, it is quite decent.
