Victorian 1880's to 1900's, white linen damask towel with lovely poppy flower decoration.  The two end of towel are fringed with hand tied fringe. The motif features a circular garland of budding poppies with leaves at the center.  An inner, as well as outer border, features more blooming poppies and scroll designs.  Truly a beautiful study of poppies. 

Length of the fringe is 5-1/2" long.  Beautiful unused condition.  

Size of the towel is 23-1/4"wide x 46" long.
