A darling later Edwardian - 1920s organdy baby bonnet with Irish crochet lace trim edging the wide ruffle that frames the face. Width of ruffle is 2-1/2. Shirring and a narrow lace ruffle also give further accent to this pretty bonnet.
Back of the bonnet at the crown is the same type of shirring as the ruffle area at the face. The ties are of pale blue silk accented at the chin with bow rosettes on either side of bonnet.
As you notice the silk of the ties do have some breaks in the ribbon. Could be replaced if one so desired. I found no other flaws. Very nice condition.
Bonnet would have fit an older child ~ perhaps 2 yrs of age.
Measuring from side to side along the face it is 12". Along the neckline from side to side the measurement is 11".
