A sweet later Edwardian 1920's baby doll toddler dress. Made of white batiste fabric, the dress is gathered at the neck with a ribbon drawstring to fasten the back opening. A tiny machine darn net trim, in a pointed scallop, edges the neck line. The same trim edges the long sleeves. The sleeves are raglan. Wide ruffle of machine embroidery gives the final touch to the dress.
Suitable for a baby or even a larger baby doll.
Measurements: 21-1/2" long from the neck line to the hem. 8" across from shoulder to shoulder. As the dress falls in folds from the neck line the chest and waist would be about 22" around. Sleeve length (as it is raglan) it is about 10" in length. The dress would fit a child about 1 year of age. The wide of the hem ruffle is 4-1/4" wide. Edging of this ruffle features delicate flowers at the scallop edge.
Condition: It has been freshly laundered and pressed. As with any garment from long ago you will find a tiny hole or two, such as the small one on the shoulder. No major damage or stains.
