Dated 1854, The Pictorial Treasury by Lippincott Grambo & Co., Philadelphia ~ an illustrated children's storybook with upward of 700 engravings from designs of eminent artists. The book consist of 62 pages with a few of the illustrations hand water colored. 

Most are black and white engravings. Size of the book is 10-1/2" x 13". Board covers. The book belonged to Ellen Elizabeth Leonard, which is penciled on one of the pages. 

Condition of the book: as you will note, the pages do have foxing. Book is strung with string ~ the page with the Ellen's name is loose from the book. All other pages are still intact. The covering of the spline is damaged, especially on the edge. Board covers show wear. I noticed one page has a wee edge tear. No others, that I noticed. Even so, an interesting early book.
