SOLD Victorian 1900 Pantaloons White Cotton Lace Bloomers Vintage Undergarment
How often do you find a Victorian child's hoop? This Civil War era cage hoop is deaccessioned from a small community museum in Ohio. The hoop would probably fit a child an older child. Made of wrapped wire and fabric tapes, the hoop is 15" in length. It is 18" around the waist but would adjust to 5" larger by adjusting the belt. Circumference around the bottom edge of hoop is 52" .
Condition is good but not perfect. Two of the vertical cloth tapes are broken and repaired with a type of paper tape. This tape has been used at another section of the wrapped wires for holding together. The usual amount of wear from the wrapped wires can be noticed.
