From the late Victorian era, a pretty Renaissance tape lace Battenburg lace collar. Suitable for costuming or wedding bridal gown, the antique collar is made of tape lace and heavier thread. Worked in open and filling stitches in scrolls of flower designs. Off white in color in a cotton thread.
Length at the edge of neck line is 36' in length, from one point to point. Width at the widest point, is 5" wide.
Condition is nice. Not cleaned recently but very good. One of the photos looks to be some fraying at the neck line. It is not, it just where the tapes are joined.
