Truly a treasure.....from the end of the Edwardian era ~ World War 1 to the early 1920's era.  This is pretty straw hat with a gorgeous assortment of fabric flowers embellishments.  Interesting shaped brim, wide through the width, more narrow front and to almost nothing at the back.

Also an interesting texture of straw.   Completely lined on the inside of the crown.  The flowers are soft of organdy and plush, all hand made, in a pale peachy-pink.  A smattering of rose color plush petals are mixed with plush leaves and stems.  The same color of the leaves and stems are used for the fuzzy buds.

This collection of flowers covers the front, some of the sides, and part of top of hat.  Single ribbon hat band. with bow, matches the stems and leaves.  Regina Hat label (this came from the Buffalo, N.Y. area).

Condition:  presentable but not perfect.  As you note, some shredding to the inside fabric at the edge of crown.  A crease of the straw at the front edge of brim.  Split of the lining fabric on underside at this point.

Still a lovely hat which would display quite well.  Condition of flowers and stems are good except two fuzzy buds missing from stems.  The two stems could be bend and tucked under to not show.
