Dating from the early part of the 1900's - 1920's, a wood stick leg putz bull cow. A nice addition to a putz Christmas Nativity or other scene. Marked Germany the animal has a well defined detailed body and legs. Painted eyes, mouth, nostrils and hoofs. Attached ears and horns (although one horn is missing. Nice coloration of browns with a touch of black.
Standing, the bull is 3-3/4" tall x 5-1/2" long nose to tail. Width is about 2" wide.
Condition: One missing horn. Some defects in the smoothness of the paper mache (this would incurred in manufacture) at the joint of upper front leg. A crack (but not broken) on the outside edge of the back leg where the wood attaches to the body. Again,I believe more of a flaw in making,
