Here's a neat children's storybook with the printing date of 1923. Little Bear's Ups And Downs was written by Frances Margaret Fox and published by Rand McNally & Company.
The book's contents list six stories. "When Little Bear Was Rich", "When Little Bear Wished To Be King", The Dance Round The Maypole", "When Little Bear Wouldn't Eat Porridge, "Playing With Rough Children" "Little Bear's Helper". 76 pages, with 6 in full color. Many others in black and white.
Cover boards are in green. Sweet colored graphic of dressed bear with bunnies appear on the front, The book also includes the dust jacket. Signed ink inscription on inside cover ~ Lee S. Pelton, Dec. 25, 1925. Evidently given as a Christmas gift. Size of the book is 6-3/4" x 7-3/4".
Condition of the dust cover does have some paper loss on border / edges. Some soiling from normal handling.
The front board cover has a white smudge at the bottom corner, otherwise the covers are good. Pages are all intact with no tears. I notice one page with a bit of foxing. Otherwise the pages are good.
A fun book to add to a children or doll display.
