Here is another one of those wonderful loomed pillow top covers from the late Victorian or early 1900's era. This one is quite creative with its colors of black and blue flower shaped rosettes, which gives a dense design to the overall look of the cover.
It is made of embroidery floss thread, probably rayon, tied and shaped in small flowerettes ~ 16 rows to be exact, with a short fringe at each of the four sides.
Size is 19" square. Condition is very nice. Appears to be unused.
A wonderful craft from a time long ago to be enjoyed today, either to place on a pillow or possibly use as a large doily on a table. Or perhaps you have your own inspiration!
