This lovely handmade embroidered Reticelli square white doily has an interesting darn net insert motif.  Placed on a diamond pattern, it is a nice constrast to the square design.  Edged in a pointed needlework.

Size is 6-1/4" square. 

Dates about 1920's.

Condition is very nice, even though used.  One small fray to one of the point on the edging.
