I Want You Comfort cast iron three leg trivet made by the Strause Gas Iron Co of Philadelphia, Pa. in 1913. A very nice piece of primitive Americana ~ original black finish with no rust.

Depicted in the center of the trivet the gas iron made by Strause. 

 A little bit of dust down in the corners of the lettering is all I can note.   

The trivet is 6-1/2" long x 4" wide, at the widest point. It stands 1-3/8" tall. 

A fun decoration for a laundry room or kitchen.  Or repurpose as I have with other trivets using under a flower pot.
