Time for play?  Children from yesteryear played with simple toys.  Dating from the 1920's- 1930's, this old spinning wood top, shaped in a teardrop, in a green stain, has a chiseled metal top. 

Size is 2-1/4" tall.  Base diameter is 1".  Condition is good.  A bit wobbly on the bottom from a knot in the wood.
