From the Arts And Crafts movement, an early 1900's leather craft, made of suede, the glove case is embellished with hand painted flowers in blue.

The flat case opens to fold-out flaps for storing a pair or pairs of gloves.  Snap closures on the case to secure the gloves inside.

Obviously, this was a gift, as written on the top of case is "Mother" from "Libby".  Written on one of the inside flaps is Hampton Beach, N.H.  Possibly made by Libby at a time she was in Hampton Beach.  Away at camp or away at school?  We can only suppose.

The case measures 13-1/2" long x 4-3/4" wide when closed.

Condition:  The outside of case is decent but does have some soiling from years of storage.  Inside is very clean.  Snaps in working order. A slight crease of the leather in the center as it had been slightly folded over.
