A vintage child's baby bonnet from the 1920's era. The size would be suitable for Christening or dressing a doll. The bonnet is made of white organdy fabric trimmed with rows of pin tucks and narrow lace edging.
Either side of the bonnet is accented with a pink rayon silk bow. One bow is also decorated with a ribbon rosette. The ties are of batiste cotton. The bonnet is just "as found" meaning it has not been laundered. No holes but a small amount of oxidation stains that I noticed.
Size measurements: 8-1/2" from side to side along the neck line. 12" from side to side along the face line. Each tie is 15" in length. To give you an idea the head size, I would say about the size of a large grapefruit.
