Old vintage 1920's chenille trim yardage, rope style, in a Christmas red, suitable for crafts or sewing projects. About what is seen, as trim, on the suits of paper mache Santa containers, or the clay face Santas, of the 1920's and '30's. 

Woven on a string, the trim is 16 yards in length x 1/8" to 1/4" in width  It does vary slightly.  Not a bright red, red, but more on a pink tone.   Possibly made of  silk or rayon blend of cotton.  It does have a silky soft touch and appearance.  

Working with Christmas crafts, I think this would be ideal.
