For the paper fan or advertising collection, a wonderful early 1900's hand held cardboard and wooden stick fan.  The delightful fan features a lovely Victorian / Edwardian lass off to play a game of tennis.  Dressed in her sailor styled tennis dress, she holds a tennis racket in her hands  The color of the fan is two-tone of a cream and gray.

Back of the fan advertising Friend Jones, North Jackson, Ohio.  Dealers in hardware, tinware, stoves, furniture, paints and oil.  Their specialty of American Buckeye fence.  Phone 5.

Measurement:  6-1/4" wide at the widest point, tapering to 4-1/4" wide.  Length, including the wooden stick, is 14" long.

Condition:  You will find flaws of some soiling, a little bit of paper loss at one edge.  By no means minty but fantastic subject matter.  View the matching fan of girl with golf cubs.
