A sweet ambrotype photo of a young girl from the Civil War era. The little girl is dressed in an off the shoulder dress.  Style of the dress indicates it is late 1850's or early 1860's. 

Oval shaped opening in a rectangle brass frame.  Very nice padded embossed case in good condition. Some normal wear at the edges. 

Size of the case is 2-1/4" x 2-3/4".  I believe this is 1/9 plate.
