Just as found from a collection of early baby clothing.  This hand stitched dimity bonnet  is simple but finely stitched.  Drawstrings at the top of bonnet and center neck line adjust the fit to the baby's head.  Dimity ties. 

Bonnet measures 10" along the face line from one side to the other.  9-1/2" along the neck line.  Yellowed from storage.  One small mend on the back of the crown.
