A wonderful early 1900's Bruckner cloth doll with lithograph pressed molded face attached to a cloth head. The 14" doll also has hard stuffed arms, legs and body in a cotton muslin. She is wearing her original white under clothes, consisting of a chemise, half slip and bloomers.
Lace edges the legs of bloomers and the hem of the petticoat. She is wearing a wonderful early brown calico dress and great old plaid sunbonnet. The dress and bonnet are not original to doll but of appropriate.
This sweet rag doll was certainly played and loved by a child, as the cloth on her nose is gone ... probably from all those kisses.
The remainder of the face does show some wear, too. Face mask has lifted, at one point at the edge of the cloth head. Maybe a touch of glue at this point? Plus the fabric on her toes have seen some wear. Otherwise, body very decent.
Calico dress and bonnet are very nice condition.
She has sat on a shelf in my house for many a year but time to let go for someone else to enjoy.
