A little treat of a pretty lingerie pouch case from the late Victorian to the 1920's. At least I believe this may have been the purpose of this bag, although you may have other thoughts.
Whatever.... the case is home sewn from black tulle netting. Then is embellished with rows of gathered narrow lace in a Chantilly style. A fold over top keeps the items safely inside.
I could see hosiery might have been an example of what would have been stored in the case.
This cute oval case is 10-1/2" wide across the top. Width across the bottom is about 10" wide. Length from top to bottom is 8" at the center.
Condition: I found one small hole, which is minor. I did not notice any thing else.
