A charming little girl's calico dress in a red with black print cotton fabric. Dating from the early years of the 1900's, this sweet dress is a perfect look for your primitive farmhouse.
The little dress fastens with hook and eyes from the shoulder seam at the neck line to the hem...in other words, completely opens down the front. Neck line area is constructed with a pleated ruffle in a stand up fashion.
A white novelty tape separates the ruffle from the main body of the dress. This same braid is used to accent "tabs" across the shoulders, both at the front and back of dress. Long sleeves with the same tape defining the cuffs.
The dress is a drop waist belted style. The belt fastens with a pearl button. The novelty braid also defines the belt.
Length of the dress is 22" long from neck line to hem. 10-1/2" across from shoulder to shoulder. 26" around the chest. 13" length of sleeve.
Condition: A few small pin dot holes. Condition mostly is fading of the fabric. General fading through out but in the folds the fabric is brighter.,
