Christmas In The Olden Time by Sir Walter Scott.  Dated 1887.  The book is hardbound with gold leaf page edges. Many beautifully engraved illustrations in black and white, with poetry verse  All pages are a heavier paper stock with a glossy finish.  Embossed cover in brown, touch of red and gold tones ~ holly berry and leaves. 

Size is 7-1/2" x 11"

Condition:  No dust jacket. Decent.  Some wear to the corners of the book from normal handling.  A tiny bit of tear/wear to the tippy top and bottom of the spline.  Inside pages are very nice.  Most of the illustrations are of an an old world scene.

A nice Christmas gift for the poetry lover.
