Here's a sweet table set for a small breakfast or lunch table.  Dating from the later 1930's to 1950's, three handmade napkins and placemats with cross stitch and applique flowers to make you smile. 

Fabric is a linen or linen cotton blend in a creamy color.  Each napkin is embroidered in one corner with an applique flower in a golden color surrounded with several small cross stitch flower sprays. 

Each of the three placemats has a larger applique flower in one corner and in the opposite corner a smaller version. 

The fabric is turned on all pieces at the edge and hand stitched in a green thread.  These vintage pieces spell a labor of love!  

Size of the placemat is 17-1/4" x 12-1/4".  The napkin is 15" x 14-1/4".

Condition:  I am sure they have been used, however, not a lot.  Not recently laundered so shows signs of oxidation from storage.
