A group of eight rice linen table place mats with four embroidered flowers in each of the corners.  The edging is a pretty machine filet trim with pointed border. Set dates from the 1940's, perhaps a bit earlier or later.

This vintage white set has been enjoyed over the years,  although still nice, it has been used.  As you note from the photos some raveling of the very edging here and there.  Otherwise very clean and usable.

Size of the mat is 14-1/2" long x 10" wide.
