From the early 1900's, a cadet blue calico fabric doll dress or robe. This sweet garment is home sewn on a treadle sewing machine. The simple dress or dressing gown is made with raglan sleeves.
The full front opening fastens near the neck line with hook and eye. Edge of the sleeves and one side of front opening is trimmed in brown polished cotton fabric.
The right side of fabric is a small scale calico print with the inside a blue in a flannel like fabric.
Condition is nice and I feel possibly never laundered due to the appearance of the fabric, especially the polished cotton.
Length from the neck line to hem is 15" long. Although there are no armhole seams, across from shoulder to shoulder would be about 7". Sleeve would be about 2-1/2" in length. Chest 15" around.
Splendid little dress for dressing a primitive doll or just for decorating your rustic farmhouse country home.
