A nice late Victorian or early 1900's red and white check ticking and matching pillow case set.  Made of cotton fabric, the set is home sewn.  Covered white linen metal buttons fastens the one end of both the tick and cover.  One button on the tick has been replaced with a white button. 

Size of this primitive Americana set is 70-1/2" long .  45-1/2 "wide.  Pillowcase 29-1/2" square. 

Condition:  Very nice. It seems the pillow case hasn't been used as much, although both pieces very nice  Some loss of material of the white linen on the buttons.
