Dating from the 19th century, an apron for your early doll or just for fun display. The primitive style calico apron is in a black and white print. Ecru lace trims the outside edge and across the waist band. A wider piece of lace accents the bottom part of the apron. A white fabric tape is used for the ties. All hand stitched in rather a primitive fashion.
Probably by a child. The apron is 4" across the waist (not including the ties) and is 8" wide near the hem. The length of the apron is 5-1/8" long.
Condition is good.
