A lovely late Victorian early 1900's embroidered white linen pincushion covers. It is a longer one, most popular for use on a dresser or vanity, for hatpins and stickpins. The top cover is decorated with white embroidery work is a stylized flower motif. Both the top and bottom cover have embroidered scallop edging. Button hole stitch eyelet holes for threading a pretty ribbon to tie the covers together. There is no insertion, meaning no cushion, just the covers.
Freshly laundered and expertly pressed. Lovely condition, although not perfect, with a tiny bit of wear at a scallop or two. So very minor.
The top cover measures 13-1/4" long x 6" wide. The bottom cover is 14-1/4" long x 7" wide.
A lovely addition to a Victorian bedroom or for your decorating choice.
