A pretty layover style pillow sham with wide Swiss eyelet trimming around all four sides. It is a fine white cotton, possibly metis ( a blend of linen and cotton) and dates from the late Victorian to the Edwardian era.

This oblong sham is a pillow topper (no backing) and it measures 41" long x 31" wide. The width of the scallop eyelet is 6" in width.  

Condition is very nice.  It has been laundered but not recently.
