A nice looking Victorian ~ early 1900's shell etui thimble sewing or trinket case.  Lovely coloration to the clam shell, with each half fitted with brass fittings and working metal closure. A lovely keepsake for a sewing room, vanity or for gift giving. 

Very clean.

Size is 3" x 3".  Height is 1-1/2" in center, tapering to the edges.
