Dating from the early 1900's - 1920's, an Italian cutwork embroidery linen bed sheet measuring 96" x 100". A very pretty pattern of cutwork is centered along the one end with the pattern extending  36" across the width. The depth of the needlework measures 13" wide at the widest point.

On two of the corners of the sheet, a  cutwork motif of a tied bow with streamers  further embellishes.  A scallop edging adds a nice accent to the width of the sheet plus 26" down either side to form the sheet return. A beautiful sheet that appears never to have been used.

Condition is nice, however, never being laundered it does have a few minor dots of oxidation from storage. However, I don't think this sheet would be a disappointment.
