This lovely pair of vintage pillowcases were found in a trunk.  They were a gift  from a wedding of a couple married in 1940.  Never used they have been stored away all these years. 

A lovely pair in white cotton with hand embroidered flowers in a oval wreath design.  Colors of the flora are blue, pink and green thread. 

Below the embroidery there is a row of pink hemstitching, both on the front and back of cases. 

Size is 31" long x 21" wide.  Condition is unused.  Never laundered so you will find some oxidation from the years of storage.
